Image Captures and Architecture

Overview

This image best highlights the overall Post-Modern style of the design. It shows a contemporary interpretation of cubism in the computerised angular form of the main building as well as
a rustic appropriation of industrial materials in the pillars of the walkway.

Walkway Exterior

This photo focuses on the exterior texture of the glass that is found on both the walkway and main building. Resembling the facade of 'Water Cube' (the Beijing Aquatic Centre for the 2008 Olympics), it is through this material that a fantastic array of colours, accentuated below, and an artificial mirage are observed due to refraction of light.

Library

One of the many functional elements of the school required as part of the brief. Notice however the mirage created by the textured glass on right-hand side for the external view.

Note: Lumion wasn't capable of demonstrate the full extent of sunlight refraction for the interior without crashing.

Studio Space with Computer Lab

Top Floor Exhibition Space with Postmodern Art

This screenshot best displays the open structure of the communal spaces in the interior shell as well as the elegant industrial chic stairs that connects the levels. The floors are purposely designed to be multifunctional as exemplified by the Exhibition Space that can be converted to classrooms when not being used.
